Why the outdoors is the world's greatest playground and classroom!

Research shows over half of children spend an hour or less a day playing outside. Science is proving the importance of play on children's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.

On November 1, the global teacher-led campaign Outdoor Classroom Day will take learning from inside to outside to reassert the importance of outdoor learning and play with the goal that children will spend more time outside in the world’s greatest playground.
