Set your facility apart from the competition with family-friendly amenities

A family play space is one of the best ways you can create distinction among your competition and offer additional value with both a recreational zone and an unofficial intergenerational meeting place. It may contain a playground, shaded seating, teen activities, and other options, depending on goals and budget.

Thoughtful design is essential. Learn how and why here.

Create Distinction at your Facility with a family play space

A family gathering space is one of the best investments you can make in your facility. It doesn’t have to be difficult or expensive. Design should take into account the input of users and their families, as well as the available space and budget. You may also consider a teaching space to extend the usage of the space. Two other important considerations are:

Accommodation for All

Your space will bring together families from a wide variety of backgrounds and generations. Thinking of options like music, gathering, game play, and social interaction, in addition to typical play events will help attract a wider age demographic. The space must also take into account the wide range of abilities that users may have, so be sure to work with a design team that understands good inclusive design.

Comfortable Shaded Seating

People will always want to rest, and while taking a seat on the ground may be comfortable to some, adding benches and picnic tables is a great way to increase usability of your space.
