PlayCore Announces Update to National Demonstration Site Locator

PlayCore, the leading company in play and recreation research, programming, and products, recently updated their National Demonstration Site (NDS) map.

The National Demonstration Site program captures a community’s commitment to advancements in play and recreation by providing research-based best practice design and implementation tools to help them reach their project goals. As an added benefit to the program, sites are awarded NDS status and the accompanying benefits-which includes sharing the site through a national database to highlight their success, promote to other communities, and help people find the NDS sites.

Previously segmented into separate maps for each designation, Outdoor Adult Fitness Parks, Pathways for Play, Inclusive Play, NatureGrounds, and PlayOn! Youth Fitness, the new map features a combined view of all locations within the program. To view current and future sites that have received the National Demonstration Site Award of Excellence, visit: www.pointsmap.com/playcore.
