2017 National Recreation & Park Association Conference & Expo

PlayCore continued a leading presence in New Orleans, LA this September for the National Recreation & Park Association Conference & Expo with over 10,000 square feet of innovative play and recreation products, programming, and education.

As the lead sponsor for the event, PlayCore hosted a party for all attendees at Mardi Gras World with its GameTime brand. The company also celebrated the addition of PlayCraft Systems and Superior Recreational Products to its family of brands.

During the conference, PlayCore launched the rebranded Center for Outreach, Research, and Education (CORE) as well as their newest guidebooks, Natural Harmony and Shift Into Gear.

In addition, they hosted six education sessions that provided knowledge to attendees on the topics of inclusive play, water play, outdoor music parks, grants and funding, outdoor adult fitness parks, and bike programming and advocacy.

One of the most meaningful events from the week came in the form of a new playground build, as the company provided equipment for the ‘leave behind’ project for the NRPA Congress. The New Orleans neighborhood playground now provides a space for families to gather and play as the amenities are designed to promote outdoor activity.
