Jennie Sumrell, CORE Community Outreach Director

Jennie worked as an educator with children and families of all abilities for over ten years. Her formal training and experience in early childhood education, exceptional learning, inclusion, and assistive technology has meaningful influence on championing and designing high-quality play and learning environments that positively impact child development. For nearly a decade, she has provided expertise in partnership, program, and product development at PlayCore. Jennie leads community outreach services that help build communities through play and recreation, and serves as a Master Instructor, providing continuing education to professionals across the country.

Jennie enjoys a variety of water sports and loves spending time at the lake with her family.
