Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to install lumber into Structural Insulated Panels following blueprint specifications as the finishing process prior to wrapping and shipment. This position is responsible for operating nail guns, saws, caulk guns and foam guns, following blueprint specifications. It also includes the installing of lumber in panels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fabrication of SIPs utilizing various hand tools
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Maintain quality standards
  • Problem solving in tough situations
  • Operate Hi-lo and overhead cranes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic construction skills
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Able to read measurement tools
  • Wood working/carpentry experience

Travel

  • This position requires minimal to no travel

Computer Skills

  • Basic computer skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems

Other Requirements

  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Skilled in using power and hand tools

  • Able to stand, reach outward and above, bending frequently and walking
