Summary
Job will primarily be, but not limited to, gathering shipment characteristics, data entry to create shipping documents, reconcile, track, and maintain freight invoices, process orders at time of shipping, provide information to internal departments and to the field regarding progress of their order, and document and communicate location of freight/material.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works daily communicating with the Shipping Dock and Transportation Department.
- Determine dimensions, weight, ready to ship projections.
- Must be able to read and understand tape measure and weight calculations as related to cube measurement, density, and/or space used.
- Processes shipments and shipping documents
- Process and maintain order locations.
- Work daily in Microsoft D365 ERP system.
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

- Must have excellent telephone skills with the ability to deal with potentially irate customers, vendors, and representatives in a professional manner

Hours
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.

Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software.
